White Ink

White ink is a relatively new innovation in digital wide format printers. White ink is typically used to outline graphics or give a backing to a graphic when printed on clear or colored media. This process enhances the vibrancy of colors, reduces background color bleed through and to mask out areas of the material. It can also be used by itself to add white lettering to clear, colored and reflective surfaces.

Applications include clear static films, clear vinyl decals, reverse printing on dark materials or product packaging and labels.
